Our Story...

Kalamandala was born in 2012.

Upon returning from an overseas trek through Northern India and Nepal, we discussed the idea of establishing a brand in Australia to showcase the high quality, unique handmade items produced throughout Asia and the Indian sub continent by the local skilled artisans in these regions.

On our second trip in 2014, we began establishing relationships with quality suppliers of ethically sourced and eco-friendly handmade fashion and home decor products. The goal from day one has always been to  bring fashionable, ethically sourced and eco-friendly products of the highest quality for sale through our website worldwide. Through this process we feel extremely fortunate to be able to continue to support local villagers and their families throughout these regions and further abroad.
